Nottingham Arndale Centre Car Park Review

The Nottingham Arndale Centre car park is located on Maid Marian Way, just before the turn off into Collin St., within the vicinity of St. Nicholas’ Church and the Ocean Night Club. A convenient place to park if you want to visit tourist attractions like City of Caves, Museums of Nottingham Life or Ye Olde Trip To Jerusalam, claimed to be the oldest inn in England! It is a multi-storey car park open 24hours a day from Monday to Sunday. The prices are reasonable, as anywhere else in Nottingham, as follows:

Weekdays -
£3.50 for up to 2 hours
£6.50 for up to 4 hours
£8.50 for up to 6 hours
£.9.50 from 6 to 24 hours

Weekends –
Flat rate of £3.50

The Arndale Centre car park can accommodate up to 412 cars at anytime, providing 2 bays for blue-badge holders and passenger lifts for ease of access. Currently, height restrictions remain at 6ft 6” but that is decent enough to sneak in a standard Ford Transit! Trailers are not allowed into the car park any time. Both cash and card are accepted as payment methods so if you run out of change, you always have the second option, but be aware that generally car parks charge a fee for using credit cards, which can be avoided by using a debit card instead. The car park is Parkmark® Secure, which means that it is under 24 hour CCTV surveillance and regularly patrolled by guards making it safe and secure for both you and your vehicle.

REVIEWER’S COMMENTS:
The Arndale Centre car park is neatly tucked in to the heart of Nottingham allowing access to most of the landmarks, making it a popular location to park. It might help to know that this is the only car park in Nottingham city centre with child bays allocated, though it might be a good idea to allocate a few more blue-badge bays. Decent charges for a prime location to park, and the flat weekend rate makes it a parking haven for shoppers, with the guarantee of secure place to park your car while you go on a shopping spree
